Rangers Reassign Emiliano Teodo, Justin Foscue To Minor-League Camp
1 min agoThe Texas Rangers reassigned pitcher Emiliano Teodo, infielder Justin Foscue and pitcher Luis Curvelo to minor-league camp on Wednesday, according to general manager Chris Young. Teodo is ranked as the team's No. 6 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, while Foscue checks in at No. 15. The 24-year-od Teodo will continue his development as a starting pitcher in the minors in 2025 after impressing in spring training by throwing 4 1/3 shutout innings with six strikeouts and one walk. However, the hard-throwing right-hander arguably has a higher fantasy ceiling as a potential closer if he's eventually moved to a bullpen role. Teodo hits triple digits with his fastball and can also get swings and misses with his slider and changeup. Foscue, 26, continues to fall as a prospect after going 2-for-42 in the big leagues in 2024 and then posting a .631 OPS this spring.
