2 years agoThe Texas Rangers are one of several teams showing interest in free-agent outfielder Michael Conforto, per NY Post's Jon Heyman. The 29-year-old did not play in 2022 due to shoulder surgery, but he compiled a .255/.356/.468 slash line in seven seasons with the New York Mets. His 2021 numbers were below those marks with a .232/.344/.384 slash line, 15 home runs and 55 RBI in 479 plate appearances. Conforto has offered considerable power upside throughout most of his career, but it will be difficult to gauge his fantasy value without first knowing where he will be playing and then seeing him play a bit after missing considerable time.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
