Ranger Suarez Wins In Debut
6 years agoMaking a spot start for the Philadelphia Phillies Thursday night, 22-year-old pitcher Ranger Suarez emerged victorious over the Cincinnati Reds. The left-hander went five innings, allowing four runs on six hits, including a pair of home runs. While it wasn't a productive start, it was good enough, as his offense bashed a whopping seven home runs en route to the win. For Suarez, it was nice to record a win, but it’s unlikely we’ll see him again this season, as the club was simply looking to help the rotation out following a doubleheader against the San Diego Padres.
