4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Ranger Suarez was the tough-luck loser on Wednesday at the Yankees, as he allowed an unearned run to score in the 10th inning. Fantasy managers don't need to worry about Suarez losing his grip on the closer job, however, as he actually pitched well in this game. Suarez was called on in the ninth inning with two men on base and got two outs to escape the jam. In the tenth inning, with the automatic runner starting on second base, there was little Suarez could do as the Yankees executed a sacrifice bunt then got a walk-off single to bring home the unearned, game-winning run. Suarez should be treated as the closer for the Phillies and rostered in any fantasy league where saves are rewarded.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
