2 months agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Randy Vasquez was promoted from Triple-A earlier on Saturday afternoon to start on Saturday evening when the Padres face the Arizona Diamondbacks. Vasquez has spent the entire month in Triple-A and has held a rough 7.20 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Through his previous 40 1/3 innings at the big league level, the 25-year-old has posted a 5.58 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, with a 15:26 BB:K ratio. Fantasy managers and DFS players should avoid Vasquez as a streaming option this evening as he will face a tough Arizona lineup that has hit right-handed pitching quite well this season with an excellent .788 OPS.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
