Randy Dobnak Placed On 10-Day Injured List
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starter/reliever Randy Dobnak (finger) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right middle finger strain. Dobnak had dealt with a fingernail issue following his start on June 10, though this seems to be a different ailment. It's not yet clear how much time the 26-year-old will be forced to miss, but the Twins might give him a break on the sidelines to correct some things, given his struggles this season. Griffin Jax was called up in a corresponding roster move. Jax has pitched to a 3.33 ERA with a 29:10 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 27 innings pitched. The Twins could potentially turn to him for a spot start or two with Dobnak sidelined.
