1 year agoNew York Giants kicker Randy Bullock (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve on Thursday due to the hamstring strain that knocked him out of Week 15's loss to the New Orleans Saints. Bullock ends his season having made five of six field goal attempts and converting all 10 of his extra-point tries. The move opens the door for Cade York to move up from the practice squad and take over kicking duties for New York. York spent his rookie year with the Cleveland Browns and was 24-for-32 on field goal attempts and missed two of his 37 extra-point attempts in 2022. York is the likeliest pivot for the Giants when they face the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, but fantasy managers should avoid him in Week 16.--Dan Stephens - RotoBaller

1 year agoNew York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said he does not expect kicker Randy Bullock (hamstring) to be ready to play in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Day. Punter Jamie Gillan had to enter the Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints as the team's field-goal kicker when Bullock injured his hamstring in the first half. The 34-year-old is most likely going to be ruled out for Monday's contest, paving the way for Cade York to serve as the Giants kicker against the Eagles. York, 22, was a fourth-round pick last year by the Cleveland Browns. In 17 games for Cleveland in 2022, he made only 24 of his 32 field-goal attempts and missed two of his 37 extra-point tries. For a struggling Giants offense, fantasy managers will want to avoid York if Bullock is eventually ruled out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

1 year agoNew York Giants kicker Randy Bullock (hamstring) injured his hamstring during Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints and is questionable to return. Bullock nailed a 56-yard field goal to give the Giants an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter but he appears to have injured his hamstring in the process. This is obviously a significant injury for the Giants who just recently signed the veteran to be their starting kicker. Expect the Giants to go for more fourth downs in this contest whenever they're inside the Saints' territory.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller

1 year agoNew York Giants kicker Randy Bullock has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of the Week 11 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Bullock has served as the team's kicker over the last two weeks with Graham Gano (knee) on the injured reserve. He has connected on his lone field goal attempt in two games for the Giants. Bullock isn't an appealing streaming option given the Giants offensive struggles lately. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming option this week.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

1 year agoNew York Giants kicker Graham Gano (knee) will have surgery on his left knee and will be placed on Injured Reserve. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Giants are signing former Tennessee Titans kicker Randy Bullock to their practice squad, pending a physical, according to sources. Bullock was with the Giants in 2016. New York also worked out veteran kickers Robbie Gould, Mason Crosby and Matthew Wright on Thursday before deciding on Bullock. It's unclear if Gano will be ready to return to action after missing the required four games on IR. Given the low-scoring nature of New York's offense in 2023, Bullock isn't an attractive fantasy streamer in what will be his first game this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
