Like most players in Monday evening's contest between the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays, Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena struggled to get going offensively. Arozarena finished the game 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts, making the slugger just 3-for-20 from the plate this season against the Yankees. Arozarena is a player that you might not want to start in most standard leagues when the Rays play the Yankees.--JasonHirsch

Seattle Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena (hamstring) is absent from the starting lineup for Monday's series opener in Sacramento against the division-rival Athletics. Miles Mastrobuoni is starting in left field and will hit sixth, while Rhylan Thomas is manning right field and batting out of the nine-hole against A's right-hander Luis Severino. A hamstring forced Arozarena from Sunday's game early against the Texas Rangers, so fantasy managers shouldn't be all that surprised that he's out on Monday. The good news is that the 30-year-old veteran is expected to be back for the second game of the series on Tuesday. Arozarena is hitting just .224 (26-for-116) on the year with five homers, 18 RBI, eight steals and 16 runs scored, but he's gone 10-for-33 (.303) with a homer, RBI and two steals in nine games since April 23 and is on a modest four-game hitting streak.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Seattle Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena (hamstring) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. Arozarena was pulled out of the contest in the sixth inning due to a hamstring issue, according to manager Dan Wilson. Before exiting, Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a single. He was replaced by Rhylan Thomas who could see more playing time if Arozarena misses time from this issue. It's worth noting the Mariners were getting crushed in this game, so maybe Arozarena's departure was purely precautionary. Fantasy managers will need to check back on Monday to see if Arozarena is back in the lineup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Seattle Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena smashed a solo home run in the second inning of the Mariners' 9-3 home win over the Angels on Wednesday. He went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two strikeouts. After a slow start to the season, Arozarena's batting average is on the rise, although it's still just .208 on the season. Over his last 12 games, he has gone 12-for-47 (.255) with two doubles, two home runs, and a .372 wOBA. In addition to his power, Arozarena brings some stolen base potential with three thefts in those 12 games, and he is a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts on the season. He and the Mariners are on the road in Texas for a divisional series against the Rangers this weekend, and Arozarena can continue to be deployed as he normally would be now that he's back on track.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller

Seattle Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena is getting his first game off of the season for Friday's series opener against the visiting Miami Marlins at T-Mobile Park. With Arozarena out, Miles Mastrobuoni will man left field in Seattle and bat seventh against Marlins right-hander Cal Quantrill. In his first 25 games of his first season with the M's, Arozarena has gone 18-for-90 (.200) with four home runs, six doubles, 17 RBI, a league-leading eight stolen bases, 11 runs scored, 19 walks and 31 strikeouts. It's a good time for the 30-year-old to get his first breather of the year, as he's gone 4-for-24 (.167) with three walks and 12 K's in his last six games. Arozarena isn't going to provide fantasy managers with help in the average department, but his power/speed combination remains valuable in all formats. Mastrobuoni has never faced Quantrill and is hitting .258 (8-for-31) in the early going with no homers and no RBI.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
