Randy Arozarena Homers, Rays Looks To Turn Things Around
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday’s 5-3 loss to the Rangers. He took Rangers right-hander Grant Anderson deep in the seventh inning for his 17th home run of the season. Arozarena started the first 30 days of the season strong with a slash line of .327/.392/.573. Over the last 30 games, he is batting .254/.328/.430. The Rays are 3-10 in July, yet still in first place in the AL East by one game. Arozarena finished the 2022 season as the team's offensive leader, with 20 home runs, 89 RBI, and a slash line of .263/.327/.445. His bat and Tampa's close-knit locker room are the keys to the Rays getting back on track, which could happen sooner rather than later. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Arozarena in all league formats.
