Randy Arozarena A Double Shy Of The Cycle
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena went 3-for-4 with a homer, a triple, a single, and three runs scored in Saturday's 11-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. He was a double shy from hitting for the cycle. The 2020 ALCS MVP launched a solo blast in the third inning for his 19th long ball of the season. Tampa Bay blasted six home runs Saturday, tying a franchise record for most homers in a game. Arozarena entered Saturday's game 0-for-9 over his last three games but busted out of his mini-slump with a three-hit performance. The 26-year-old remains a strong fantasy option after slashing .273/.353/.466 with 19 home runs, 61 RBI, 82 runs scored, and 12 stolen bases over 119 games in 2021.
