Randall Cobb Unlikely To Return This Season
4 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Randall Cobb (toe) is likely to miss the rest of the season, according to interim head coach Romeo Crennel. Cobb suffered a toe injury and was placed on injured reserve in Week 11, though it was initially thought that he'd have a chance to return to the field. That doesn't appear to be the case, which is unfortunate considering the Texans are already down Will Fuller V (suspension). Cobb will likely end the season with 38 catches for 441 yards and three touchdowns, a solid showing as Houston's number-three wideout. Brandin Cooks (foot, neck) has a good chance of returning in Week 15, leaving Keke Coutee and Chad Hansen as the other two starters.
