Randall Cobb Quiet In Return To Action
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb caught three passes on five targets for 25 yards in a Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Cobb had missed the previous three games with a hamstring injury. Part of the blame for his lack of production can be placed on a struggling Green Bay offense. However, Cobb has struggled to put up stats for years. Outside of a strong Week 1, he hasn’t produced in a meaningful way for fantasy purposes this year. In this game, and recent history in general, Cobb had a shallow depth of reception on his targets. He still has enough wiggle to break an occasional big run after the catch but not in a consistent enough way for him to be relied upon. If you are in a desperate situation and need a player with a high ceiling to help you win an upset, Cobb has some value. In most situations he should not warrant any fantasy consideration and does not need to be owned.
