Randall Cobb Leads Packers In Receiving During Return
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb caught all six of his targets and gained 73 yards during the team's 27-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The veteran receiver made his return to the field after being placed on Injured Reserve four weeks ago due to an ankle injury. He provided quarterback Aaron Rodgers with a much-needed safety blanket, ultimately leading the team in receiving yards by the end of the night. His return spelled the end for teammate Sammy Watkins' fantasy relevance. Cobb will provide nothing more than WR4/5 value moving forward but faces a Philadelphia defense next week that is missing starting slot cornerback Avonte Maddox. He is not a recommended fantasy start in Week 12 but can be considered a desperation FLEX option in 14-16 team leagues.
