Randall Cobb Expected To Miss 2-4 Weeks
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) was bracing for recovery from a fracture in his ankle, however, the most recent report is that it was a sprain, which carries a timeline of two to four weeks. The veteran wideout is unlikely to land on injured reserve now that he could return sooner than expected, which is good news for a struggling Green Bay passing attack. Depending on the health of Sammy Watkins and Christian Watson, there may be an opportunity for Amari Rodgers or Juwann Winfree to receive a larger role, joining Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs as the starting receivers. Neither Rodgers nor Winfree possesses much fantasy value, but the absence of Cobb could benefit Lazard and Doubs.
