Rams Will Continue To Manage Todd Gurley's Workload
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead thought that running back Todd Gurley's load management last season worked well. The expectation is that Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson will spell Gurley more often early in the 2020 season, with Gurley's workload increasing as the season goes along. Improving the offensive line will also go a long way in making the team's running backs more efficient next season. After having 1,000-yard seasons in three of his first four seasons, Gurley finished with 857 rushing yards on 223 carries and 12 touchdowns last year. The Rams will continue to be cautious with him because of chronic knee issues, so he'll once again be more of an RB2 than an RB1.
