Rams Offensive Line Loses Another Starter
2 years agoThe Rams offensive line suffered another serious injury in the team's 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. Left tackle Joe Noteboom, who has started all six games for the Rams this season, was carted off the field in the second quarter with an ankle issue. Coach Sean McVay said he fears it could be a torn Achilles tendon. The Rams offensive line was already suffering from injuries going into the game. They were down to their third center and their third left guard. In game, Alaric Jackson moved over from right guard to replace Noteboom. The injuries have particularly hampered the Rams' pass blocking, as the Rams had allowed the most sacks going into Week 6 and had the second-lowest pass blocking grade. The loss of Noteboom only makes the fantasy outlooks of QB Matthew Stafford, WR Allen Robinson II, and RB Darrell Henderson Jr. even less auspicious.
