Raisel Iglesias Will Throw Live BP On Monday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Raisel Iglesias (shoulder) will throw a live bullpen session before Monday's game against the Miami Marlins. He has thrown bullpen sessions but is set to face live hitters since being shut down the last week of Spring Training. Barring any setbacks, the 33-year-old will begin a rehab assignment soon and could make his 2023 debut in early May. Iglesias is expected to be Atlanta's primary closer when he returns, and fantasy managers should continue to stash him in all league formats. A.J. Minter will receive the bulk of save opportunities for the Braves while Iglesias is sidelined.
