Raisel Iglesias Shuts Door On Baltimore For First Save
2 years agoAtlanta Braves reliever Raisel Iglesias worked a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday en route to his first save of the season in a 5-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Iglesias, who was just activated from the injured list on Friday and was making his season debut, fanned two and induced a groundout to end the ball game. There was some thought that he would be eased back into a high-leverage role but the Braves wasted no time and gave him a save opportunity the first chance they got. It's worth noting that A.J. Minter pitched the top of the eighth inning with Atlanta losing 4-3. Iglesias will be the closer in Atlanta moving forward.
