Raisel Iglesias Serving Suspension Sunday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Raisel Iglesias had his suspension reduced to one game, and he'll serve it on Sunday against the Houston Astros. Iglesias was suspended for his outburst during the team's benches-clearing brawl against the Seattle Mariners last week, in which he got heated and threw sunflower seeds onto the field. The 32-year-old right-hander hasn't allowed a run since June 12 and has recorded saves in two of his last three appearances. On Saturday night, he tossed a scoreless inning while striking out two in a non-save situation in a 9-1 loss. If a save situation arises on Sunday, either Ryan Tepera or Aaron Loup are the best bets to work the ninth inning for the Halos with Iglesias serving his suspension.
