Raisel Iglesias Picks Up A Win Against Mets
1 year agoAtlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias picked up his second win of the season in the team's 13-10 extra-inning, walk-off win over the division-rival New York Mets on Thursday night. Iglesias entered in the top of the 10th inning and held the Mets scoreless in his inning of work while striking out two before Ozzie Albies' three-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th. The 33-year-old right-hander hasn't allowed a run since May 14 and now has a 2.63 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, eight saves and 14 strikeouts in 13 2/3 innings pitched. The Cuban hurler got a late start to the 2023 season due to an injury, but he's making up for lost time and is one of the better closing options in fantasy with the first-place Braves.
