Raisel Iglesias Notches 14th Save Of Season Monday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Raisel Iglesias picked up his 14th save of the season in Monday's 4-3 win over the White Sox. Iglesias entered the game to pitch the ninth inning with a one-run lead and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. It was announced earlier Monday that he was suspended for two games for his actions during a bench-clearing brawl with the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. However, the 32-year-old closer seems to have appealed the suspension, so he should be able to pitch in the interim. Iglesias has been a solid fantasy option once again this season and has a 3.76 ERA, 12.99 K/9 rate, and 1.37 BB/9 rate with just two blown saves. He should remain in fantasy managers' lineups until his suspension gets resolved or served.
