Raisel Iglesias Earns First Career Postseason Save Monday
1 year agoAtlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias earned his first career postseason save in Monday's National League Division Series Game 2 5-4 win over the Phillies. Iglesias entered the game in the bottom of the ninth up by one with no outs and a runner on first. He got the first out on a flyout and ended the game on a flyout double play thanks to an incredible defensive effort by Michael Harris II. The 33-year-old has now pitched two scoreless innings this postseason but carries a career postseason 7.20 ERA in five innings pitched between 2020, 2022, and 2023.
