Raisel Iglesias Earns 23rd Save Of Season Saturday
Raisel Iglesias notched his 23rd save of the season in Saturday's 6-3 game against the Diamondbacks. Iglesias pitched a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout to end the game. He has now converted 23 of 26 saves on the season to go with a 2.47 ERA, 53 strikeouts, and 15 walks in 51 IP. He remains a solid fantasy closer option and should continue to be utilized as such.

Raisel Iglesias Strikes Out Three To Earn Sixth Save
Raisel Iglesias secured the victory in the team's 4-3 win over the Dodgers on Sunday. The first batter reached on an infield single, but Iglesias struck out the next three batters to slam the door and end the threat, logging his sixth save of the season in the process. The righty wasn't as effective as the Braves or fantasy managers had expected earlier this year, but looks to be getting back on track lately, with three straight scoreless appearances in which he's allowed just two hits and no walks while striking out six over three innings pitched. The ERA isn't pretty at 4.85, but the 35-year-old owns a 1.00 WHIP and a strong 25.5 percent K-BB% now, and with the Braves righting the ship after an 0-7 start to the season, there should be plenty more save chances in the future for the 6-foot-2 hurler.

Raisel Iglesias Notches Fifth Save Monday
Raisel Iglesias picked up his fifth save of the season in Monday's 6-3 win over the Rockies. Iglesias entered to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by three. He got the first two outs on a fly-out and a line-out, allowed a double, and ended the game with a strikeout. The 35-year-old veteran has been inconsistent so far this season, converting five of seven save opportunities with a 5.73 ERA, an 8.18 K/9 rate, and a 1.64 BB/9 rate in 11 innings of work. He has split save opportunities over the last seven days with Dylan Lee, who converted one of two with a 0.00 ERA. While Lee has pitched well this season, Iglesias has a long track record of being a higher-end closer, so he will likely be given some leash to get things back on track.

Raisel Iglesias Earns Save On Tuesday
Raisel Iglesias got the final three outs of a 7-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday to earn his first save of the season. Iglesias worked around a walk to preserve the win over Philadelphia in what was his second save chance of the season. The veteran closer has now made three appearances for the Braves this year, posting a 3.00 ERA, 0-1 record, and three strikeouts over that span. The Braves are off to a surprisingly poor 2-8 start, which has not afforded Iglesias many save chances, but he should remain a solid closing option in fantasy moving forward.

Raisel Iglesias Implodes Sunday
Raisel Iglesias had a night to forget Sunday, allowing five runs in just two-thirds of an inning in a 9-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Iglesias came into the game in the ninth with the score tied but promptly allowed four hits and a walk while recording just two outs before exiting. It's been an excellent season for the veteran closer, but this comes at a very tough time for both the Braves and his fantasy managers. Still, on the whole, he has been one of the best relievers in baseball with his ERA at 1.87 and his WHIP at 0.72, even after this dismal appearance. He should be drafted as one of the first relievers off the board next season.
