Raisel Iglesias Blows Second Save Of Season Monday
1 year agoAtlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias could not get the job done in Monday's 6-5 extra-innings loss to the Tigers. Iglesias came on to pitch the ninth inning up by three. He allowed a leadoff single followed by a two-run home run and another single. He then got two outs on a strikeout and force-out at second before allowing back-to-back singles to tie the game and finally got out of things with another strikeout. It was a poor showing for the 33-year-old, but he has converted nine of 11 save opportunities this season with a 4.02 ERA and a 10.34 K/9 rate. Fantasy managers shouldn't worry, as Iglesias has been a reliable fantasy closer for most of his career.
