Raisel Iglesias Blows Save, Earns Extra-Inning Win Tuesday
1 year agoAtlanta Braves closer Raisel Iglesias blew his fourth save of the season but picked up his fifth win in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Phillies. Iglesias came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth up by one. He allowed a leadoff home run to Trea Turner to tie the game and allowed back-to-back singles before getting out of the inning with a strikeout and a groundball double play. The Braves would score in the top of the 10th and turned to Brad Hand to close out the game, so Iglesias was the pitcher of record. The 33-year-old has been a reliable fantasy option once again, going 5-4 with 29 saves, a 3.26 ERA, and an 11.05 K/9 rate.
