Raimel Tapia Steals Base In Return To Lineup Wednesday
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia (illness) went 1-for-3 with a stolen base, one RBI, and one run scored during his return to the starting lineup Wednesday in a 6-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners. The 27-year-old was absent from the starting lineup the past two games with a non-COVID-related illness but drew a walk as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday. The Mile High table-setter made an immediate impact, stealing his 16th base of the season during the first inning and coming around to score on a Charlie Blackmon single. On the season, Tapia has five homers, 40 RBI, 54 runs, and a .282/.336/.385 line over 91 games to go with the 16 steals. While he's been a solid contributor, fantasy managers should pay careful attention to Tapia's home and road matchups. The speed has been consistent, but the other counting stats have suffered away from Coors Field.
