Raiders Sign Jesper Horsted
2 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders signed former Chicago Bears tight end Jesper Horsted to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday. Horsted was waived by the Bears in May with a failed-physical designation. The 25-year-old will be trying to win a roster spot with the Raiders in training camp after catching only 10 passes on 13 targets for 108 yards and three touchdowns in his two seasons with Chicago over 13 games (one start). Horsted will be battling with the likes of Jacob Hollister and Nick Bowers for depth behind All-Pro Darren Waller and Foster Moreau. The Raiders also have undrafted rookie tight ends Cole Fotheringham and Travis Koontz on the current roster.
