Raiders Considering Drafting A Quarterback
15 seconds agoThe Las Vegas Raiders appear to be locked in to having Geno Smith under center for the 2025 season. They traded for Smith this offseason and signed him to a two-year, $75 million deal as well. Despite that, Raiders general manager John Spytek said he is open minded when it comes to drafting a quarterback during the upcoming NFL Draft. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Raiders add a quarterback to develop behind Smith for a season or two. However, fans shouldn't expect the Raiders to use the No. 6 overall pick on a quarterback. It seems like the Raiders are heavy favorites to draft running back Ashton Jeanty in that spot. Possibly, the Raiders draft a quarterback later, but that person shouldn't compete with Smith for the starting job in 2025.
