Raiders Agree To Terms With Jeremy Chinn On Two-Year Deal
43 seconds agoThe Las Vegas Raiders agreed to terms with free-agent safety Jeremy Chinn on Monday on a two-year deal for over $16 million with over 75 percent of the deal fully guaranteed at signing, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Chinn will head to the AFC West after spending one year with the Washington Commanders in 2024, where he had a career-high 117 tackles (73 solo), a career-high two sacks, seven tackles for loss, an interception, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 17 regular-season starts. The 27-year-old also had 29 tackles (17 solo) and an interception in three playoffs games in which he played all of the defensive snaps. It's a big pickup for the Raiders secondary, as Chinn has three 100-plus-tackle seasons in his five years in the NFL after the Carolina Panthers made him a second-round pick (64th overall) in 2020 out of Southern Illinois. Chinn will be back on the IDP radar in 2025.
