Raheem Mostert Remains On Fantasy Radar
2 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert remains on the fantasy radar despite a disappointing Week 16. The veteran back is now gearing up for a Week 17 clash against the New England Patriots in which Miami could take a run-heavy approach after Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was ruled out. Teddy Bridgewater will start under center, and since he isn't as talented of a passer as Tagovailoa, Miami might look to get the ball in its running backs' hands more often. Between Weeks 4 and 6 (when Tagovailoa suffered his second concussion and missed time), Mostert averaged a respectable 11.7 fantasy points per game. While he continues to face competition from Jeff Wilson Jr., there might be enough touches to go around for both backs to succeed. The biggest obstacle in Mostert's way is a Patriots defense that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Still, Mostert is a fine RB3/FLEX play if your lineup is in need of reinforcements.
