Raheem Mostert Gains 68 Yards Before Injury
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) re-injured the same ankle that's been ailing him the past few weeks in Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys. He didn't return to the game after the injury. Mostert carried the ball 14 times for 68 yards in the game and didn't see any targets in the passing game. Jeff Wilson Jr. received a sturdy workload alongside Mostert and his workload increased when Mostert was sidelined. Wilson carried the ball 16 times this week and also had four targets in the passing game. If Mostert can get in some full practices this week, he'll be a candidate to start as an RB2 in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals, but he might be tough to trust due to his inability to stay on the field this year.
