Raheem Mostert Collects Two More Spikes
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert handled 10 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. He also cradled a 16-yard reception. Mostert continued playing as the workhorse and best running back in the Niners committee, converting two red zone rushes of two and 13 yards in the second half to help secure the critical victory. The breakout fifth-year back finishes the regular season with 772 rush yards, 180 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns despite not being anointed the full-time starter until Week 13. Averaging a crisp 6.3 yards per touch, Mostert will be a solid RB2 in two weeks in the Divisional playoff round.
