Raheem Mostert A Must-Start If He's Active In Week 5
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (knee) appears to be trending towards making his return to action in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins. Mostert has missed the past two games with an MCL sprain, but he has returned to practice on a limited basis this week. Mostert got off to a phenomenal start to the season, averaging 6.4 yards per carry and a whopping 18.3 yards per reception before the injury. If he's active in Week 5, he should see at least around 15 touches against a Miami Dolphins Defense that's yielding 409.8 total yards per game, the sixth most in the league. Jerick McKinnon would see a decreased workload with Mostert's return, but still would be involved, especially in the passing game. Mostert is a high-end RB2 starter if he's a go.
