Rafael Dolis, Ryan Borucki Progressing
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Rafael Dolis (finger) will join Triple-A Buffalo for a rehab assignment on Friday, according to manager Charlie Montoyo. Reliever Ryan Borucki (elbow) will throw live batting practice early next week before moving to a rehab assignment. Dolis could be back early next week, while Borucki is a little bit further behind. But the Jays should be getting bullpen reinforcements soon. Dolis has three saves this year but also a 5.14 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 21 innings before he suffered a right middle finger sprain on June 17. The left-handed Borucki suffered a flexor strain on May 14 and has a 4.05 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 14 K's in 13 1/3 innings. Neither relief arm is particularly attractive in fantasy, even in saves/holds leagues.
