Rafael Devers Has Huge Game Monday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers stuffed the stat sheet Monday with a home run, three RBI, a stolen base, and two runs scored in Boston's rout of the Blue Jays. Devers got off to a somewhat slow start but has turned it on in May. Devers owns a strong .515 slugging percentage in May after slugging under .400 in March and April. More home runs should be on the way for the 22-year-old third baseman as he only has an 8.3 percent home run to fly ball ratio despite making solid contact. Expect that number to rise closer to MLB average as the weather heats up and the ball starts flying out of hitter-friendly Fenway Park. Devers should be owned and started in all formats.
