3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (quad) is dealing with a quadriceps injury, but the team hopes he'll be ready to return to action by Friday, according to Ian Browne of MLB.com. Devers exited Wednesday's game early with what was initially described as a potential hamstring issue, but now it appears that it's a problem with his quad. Regardless, the team seems to think it's a minor issue, so hopefully he'll be back in action on Friday. Consider him day-to-day for now, and keep an eye out for further updates on his condition as the week progresses.--Michael
