Rafael Devers Dealing With Forearm Discomfort
3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (forearm) is experiencing right forearm discomfort, according to Michael Silverman and Alex Speier of the Boston Globe. The Globe reporters stated that the injury has only been flaring up when Devers swings and misses. The expectation at this point is that Devers is going to continue to play through the injury. Red Sox manager Alex Cora has yet to comment on the situation. The 24-year-old struck out twice in the team's Game 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays and went 1-for-4 overall.
