Daniel Suarez Finishes Last At Pocono
1 year agoOn Sunday afternoon, Joey Logano wrecked Daniel Suarez on Lap 36 of the HighPoint.com 400 at Pocono, ending the day for the No. 99 Chevy Camaro driver. In an interview with the Motor Racing Network, the Trackhouse Racing sensation blamed his poor track position for the wreck, stating, "We were racing in the back with some of the squirrels." Despite his humble, light-hearted stance, Sunday's last-place finish was costly, as it dropped the Monterrey, Mexico, native to 18th in the playoff standings, 23 points below the cut-off line.
