The Vancouver Canucks officially signed defenseman Quinn Hughes to a six-year, $47.1 million contract ($7.85 million average annual value) on Sunday. The 21-year-old, who was a restricted free agent, should join the Canucks in training camp for the first time this week. One of the league's most promising offensive blueliners, Hughes logged 41 points (three goals, 38 assists), 19 power-play points and 98 shots in 56 games in his second full NHL season in 2020-2021. The Florida-born rearguard is currently ranked #42 in Yahoo's preseason rankings and should be drafted in the top five rounds of most fantasy drafts this season.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
