Hughes tallied the primary assist on Nils Hoglander's opening goal. Later in the second frame, Hughes added the secondary assist on Linus Karlsson's tally. Hughes also added two shots on goal with a +2 rating in this contest. This performance extended his point streak to seven games. During this seven-game stretch, the 25-year-old has found the back of the net five times and added six assists. Hughes is on pace to set a new career high in goals and remains a must-start player in all formats, as he has tallied 58 points in 46 games. He will look to extend this streak on Friday evening against the Dallas Stars.
