Quinn Cook Struggles Shooting Against Kings
6 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Quinn Cook scored six points on 2-for-11 shooting and 2-for-6 from beyond the arc in Saturday night's victory over the Kings. He also grabbed six rebounds and doled out five assists in 29 minutes. It was his worst shooting performance this season. However, the 25-year-old has now hauled at least five rebounds in each of the last four games. Cook has played well played well over the last seven contests overall, reaching double-figures in five of those games and posting a 19:6 assist-to-turnover ratio during this stretch. The third-year pro will look to extend his streak of consecutive games with at least one three-pointer to 12 straight in a good matchup against the Magic on Monday.

Quinn Cook Inks One-Year Deal To Join Kings
3 years agoPoint guard Quinn Cook has reportedly signed a one-year contract to join the Sacramento Kings for the 2022-23 season, per Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee. The 29-year-old has been well traveled since first joining the league in '16, with the Kings set to be his sixth professional franchise with whom he appears. Cook played part of last season for Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia, before signing on with the G League in February. A two-time NBA champion from his days with the Warriors and Lakers, Cook has averaged 6.4 points across 14.1 minutes per game throughout his career. With De'Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell set to handle the vast majority of point guard duties, Cook is merely a depth piece for the Kings as they attempt to return to the postseason for the first time since 2005-06.
