Quincy Enunwa Getting Close To 100 Percent
7 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa (neck), who missed all of 2017 after neck surgery, is feeling good. "It feels good," Enunwa said Tuesday. "It's as 100 [percent] as I'm supposed to be. I'm probably ahead of schedule, but I'm doing everything with the guys, running routes, catching the ball. There's really no setbacks right now." It's unclear how much he'll be able to do for organized team activities, which start May 22, but Enunwa thinks he'll be at least limited. It's a contract year for Enunwa, who may be the team's best receiver if he's healthy. He broke out in 2016 with 58 catches for 857 yards and four touchdowns, but the team has also added Terrelle Pryor and Jermaine Kearse since. A lot will depend on Enunwa's health. He has plenty of upside left, but New York's uncertain quarterback situation could hold him back as well.
