Quin Snyder Named Hawks Head Coach
2 years agoAccording to ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hawks appointed Quin Snyder to fill its vacant head coaching position. This story had gained traction over the last few days, as Atlanta was moving to hire someone after parting ways with Nate McMillan on Tuesday. The 56-year-old last served as the head coach of the Jazz, where he amassed a 372-264 record before leaving in 2022. But now, Snyder, who signed a five-year deal, will take over an Atlanta team that hasn't met expectations. It may also be good news for Trae Young and Dejounte Murray, with both men somewhat underperforming during the 2022-23 campaign.
