Quez Watkins Leads The Eagles In Yards In Week 6
Quez Watkins led the Eagles in receiving yards in a Week 6 loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs. Watkins was targeted five times, catching three passes for 44 yards. It was an atrocious night for the Eagles passing offense, as quarterback Jalen Hurts completed just 12 passes total. Watkins was open deep several times, but Hurts was simply unable to connect with his wide receiver. While Watkins does seem to have some upside in this offense, it seems unlikely that Hurts will be able to help him reach it. He'll remain a high-floor depth option, though.

Quez Watkins Signing Deal With Steelers
Quez Watkins is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The 25-year-old was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but he has not made much of an impact playing behind star wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith over the last two seasons. However, he adds a much-needed element of speed to the Steelers' wide receiver room, and he can be utilized as a field-stretcher for Russell Wilson in 2024. Watkins has just 98 receptions for 1,249 yards and six touchdowns through his first 49 NFL games. Expect him to serve as the team's WR3 or WR4 this season. Although Diontae Johnson was traded to the Carolina Panthers, the Steelers will likely heavily target the wideout spot in next month's NFL Draft.

Quez Watkins Comes Up Short In Wild Card Round
Quez Watkins caught three of four targets for 12 yards during the team's 9-32 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 25-year-old was not able to do much, even with the absence of A.J. Brown (knee) and the early exit of Julio Jones (concussion). DeVonta Smith accounted for 148 of the 250 receiving yards Monday night and remained the only competent fantasy wide receiver for the Eagles not named Brown. After an underwhelming 2022, Watkins ended 2023 with just 15 receptions and could be looking for a new home this offseason. He is no longer a hold in Dynasty fantasy formats.

Quez Watkins Could Have An Increased Role Against Buccaneers
Quez Watkins will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the NFL playoffs. The 25-year-old saw heavy usage against the New York Giants last week, with DeVonta Smith missing the game due to an ankle injury and A.J. Brown (knee) exiting early. Watkins now has the chance to suit up as the No. 2 option behind Smith in the Eagles most important game of the season if Brown is ruled out for Monday night. Tampa Bay is a great matchup, as the Buccaneers allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2023. Watkins will be a great value pick in DFS if Brown is inactive, but he has been incredibly boom or bust in the past, so tread carefully.

Quez Watkins Leads Eagles In Receiving, Scores In Week 18
Quez Watkins caught eight of 11 targets for 93 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 10-27 blowout loss to the New York Giants. Philadelphia's offense was stagnant as ever, with DeVonta Smith (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (illness) ruled out to start the contest, but things got even worse when A.J. Brown (knee) went down early in the game. Jalen Hurts (finger) left after the score became out of reach, leaving Watkins the top target for backup Marcus Mariota. The 25-year-old put up solid numbers and scored the only touchdown of the game for Philadelphia. The status of Brown and Smith is entirely unknown at this point, so fantasy managers should keep an eye on Watkins heading into the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
