Quez Watkins Catches Crucial 22-Yard Touchdown In Week 11
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins caught both of his passes, gained 31 yards, and scored a touchdown during the team's 17-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year-old slot receiver was targeted only eight times through the first six weeks but has seen his role in the offense increase over the past month. After gaining 80 yards last week and losing a crucial fumble, Watkins caught the Eagles' lone touchdown pass this week early in the fourth quarter. It is tough to trust the third-year receiver in any redraft league, but he can be viewed as a decent dart throw in DFS if he continues to see targets with tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) out for at least the next three weeks. Watkins could see a few targets next week against the Green Bay Packers, but he should be considered nothing more than a boom or bust WR4/5.
