Quentin Grimes Shines In A Start
3 years agoNew York Knicks shooting guard Quentin Grimes enjoyed a memorable first career start on Sunday, leading all scorers with 27 points in a loss to Milwaukee. He set a new franchise record for most triples in a game by a rookie with seven and shot 9-for-17 overall from the field. He collected three rebounds and three steals while delivering three assists with five turnovers in 40 minutes. Grimes replaced RJ Barrett (health and safety protocols) in the starting unit and the Knicks were missing a lot of other guys as well, so it was the perfect storm for the 21-year-old rookie. It's not known when Barrett is able to return and thus Grimes could get even more opportunities to shine.
