Qualifying Rained Out At Dover; Kyle Busch Awarded Pole Position
2 years agoRain at Dover Motor Speedway forced NASCAR to cancel Saturday's scheduled qualifying session. This will give the pole position for this weekend's Wurth 400 to last week's winner, Kyle Busch, who got his second victory of the season at Talladega last weekend. Track position is important at any race track with this NextGen car, but it should be noted that the last four pole sitters at Dover haven't been able to lead more than 27 laps. There are 400 laps scheduled for this weekend's race. Busch is a 3-time winner at Dover Motor Speedway (2008, 2010, 2017) and he has posted 21 top 10 finishes in 34 career starts here (61.8%). Expect him to challenge for another strong result this time around.
