Qadree Ollison Rushes For 51 Yards, Touchdown
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons rookie running back Qadree Ollison saw double-digit carries for the second game in a row Thursday night. He rushed 14 times for 51 yards, including a 9-yard touchdown run. He had 12 carries for 42 yards in the team's previous game. His yards-per-carry have been just about even the past two games as he averaged 3.6 yards-per-carry this week, compared to 3.5 yards-per carry the previous week. The Falcons have clearly made it a priority to get their 6th round pick a heavy amount of reps before the season and Ollison has performed adequately. He figures to be third or fourth in line for touches out of the backfield for the Falcons to open the year, competing with Brian Hill for that third spot behind Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith.
