Qadree Ollison Released By The Falcons
3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons released running back Qadree Ollison on Thursday. He was waived by the Falcons on Thursday and replaced by Wayne Gallman. The 24-year-old emerged during camp as the favorite for the backup role behind Mike Davis but was ultimately cut. Ollison will look to latch onto another team in search of running back depth. Gallman, recently released by the 49ers, will serve as the backup running back behind Davis. He had his best season filling in for Saquon Barkley (knee) for the Giants in 2020, rushing for 682 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 4.6 YPC in 15 games. Fantasy managers should be targeting Gallman as the Falcons backup running back in upcoming fantasy drafts.
