Kerryon Johnson May Have Decent Workload Against Tampa Bay
6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson should see plenty of reps during the team's third preseason game on Friday. The 2018 second-round pick is expected play a large role in the Lions offense this season, but the third preseason game usually tells where a player stands on the team. After posting 67 total yards in the first preseason game, Johnson tallied just 19 all-purpose yards in their second game. LeGarrette Blount seems to be getting the early down work for now, but Johnson's usage in both the running and passing attack is a good sign of how the Lions intend to use him this season. If he sees a bulk of the work against the Buccaneers, expect that to carry over into the regular season. Over the past two weeks, his ADP in 12 team standard leagues has jumped from 6.09 to 5.03, according to Fantasy Football Calculator.
